Deputy Head of M&E Department

Support the Head of Department in organizing, coordinating, and controlling all design activities related to Mechanical – Electrical – Plumbing (MEP) systems for industrial factory projects. Ensure that all design documents meet quality standards, are delivered on time, comply with technical standards, and effectively support the company’s business operations.

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the development, review, and inspection of design drawings for electrical, water supply and drainage, HVAC, fire protection systems, etc., for industrial factories in accordance with Vietnamese and international standards.
  
  
• Assist in preparing MEP technical proposals during quotation, bidding, and project implementation stages.
  
  
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, and infrastructure teams to ensure synchronization between systems.
  
  
• Work with clients, supervision consultants, and verification units regarding design solutions and adjust documents when necessary.
  
  
• Support the Department Head in assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and controlling the quality of work from the MEP design team.
  
  
• Review and contribute to improving design processes and technical standards.
  
  
• Provide guidance and technical training for MEP design engineers.
  
  
• Coordinate with the Project Department and Site Managers during construction to clarify design documents and assist in resolving technical issues arising on site.
  
  

2. JOB REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, Water Supply and Drainage, HVAC, or related fields.
  
  

2.2. Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in MEP design for industrial projects, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or team leader position.
  
  
• Solid understanding of codes and design standards in industrial construction.
  
  
• Preference given to candidates with experience working on FDI or foreign-invested projects.
  
  

2.3. Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Heatload, DuctChecker, Dialux, and other software for HVAC, electrical, pressure load calculations, and design support.
  
  
• Strong organizational skills, quality control of design documents, and teamwork abilities.
  
  
• Capable of communicating and reading technical documents in English.
  
  

Proactive, responsible, and able to work under high pressure.
